TLDR: Nearly 20 years of toy and game industry experience in product design, game development, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and logistics.

Starting in the toy and game industry in 2006 with GPI as a Project Manager, David cut his teeth managing the manufacturing for several key accounts including Steve Jackson Games, Exploding Kittens, All Things Equal, and dozens of other publishers. He simultaneously climbed the ranks at GPI's sister company, The Haywire Group, Inc., where he held multiple positions including Director of Sales & Marketing and Vice President of Business Development. During his time at Haywire, he established several key retail relationships including Amazon, Target & Walmart, secured international distribution, and brokered licensing agreements with Amazon Studios & Guinness World Records. When Haywire was sold to University Games in 2018, David returned to GPI full-time as a member of the leadership team and was instrumental in the company's service expansion including the creation of the Design & Development department that uniquely positioned GPI as a turn-key service provider in the industry. He was the lead game designer on several games during this period including "Hangry" for Big G Creative and "We're All Gonna Die" for Ginger Fox and managed the product design for Exploding Kittens’ TOTY-nominated “Cat and Mouth.” After taking a short sabbatical, David left GPI and founded Good Egg Creative Co. (GECCO LLC), a vertically integrated service provider & creative agency offering development work for hire and business development consultation. He is now the Director of Family/Party Games at The Op (Usaopoly). He enjoys traveling the world with his family, writing & recording original music, and eating tacos.
