Bringing Dance Back to the Daylight!

Visionary, author, inventor and catalyst for continued positive change for over 25 years, Lisa founded the Center for Transformative Movement (CTM) and has since worked and danced with thousands of people from all walks of life.

During this time she’s learned that most people feel self-conscious dancing and making time for play in their lives. She felt the exact same way until she just started doing those things herself - dancing, playing and feeling the satisfaction of sharing what quickly became her passion one person and one community at a time. Most meaningfully, Lisa has seen over and over the subtle, yet profound healing and transformation that can and does occur effortlessly when people are given opportunities to connect, move, play and dance freely.

Most recently, Lisa is excited about the launch of CTM’s newest wellness product, LIQUID LOOPS ™, a whole-body wellness tool and program that encourages and enables people of any age to take a break from their routines - anytime, anywhere - and feel the joy and exuberance of physically, emotionally and playfully connecting with one another through movement.

Specifically, she is on a mission to make LOOPING ‘a thing’ worldwide - The LOOP REVOLUTION as a means to counteract the isolation and disconnection many people are currently experiencing in our linear, modern technologically-driven times. Lisa’s accomplishments stem from her extensive counseling and movement training and her two master’s degrees in Health Education and Social Work.

She has published several research articles on the health benefits of movement and dance in international academic journals and is a captivating, relevant and entertaining public speaker.

Lisa is also the creator of CTM’s ECSTATIC GROOVE Movement Meditation Method and Instructor Training Program which provides expertise to people interested in facilitating therapeutic freeform / ecstatic group dances. ECSTATIC GROOVE is an innovate method that helps anyone at any age enjoy the many body-mind benefits of dance - letting loose to music - as a fun activity and self-care wellness practice.

She loves nothing more than creating innovative environments and products which turn people on to simple, fun ways to activate their most elevated, alive and healthy selves… what true wellness is all about!
