Ever wondered what it would be like to design a board game or a cool new toy? This is your chance to learn the ins and outs of the Toy Industry! We’re looking for an entrepreneurial individual with a strong desire to help drive growth in our small business and gain real-world experience along the way.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

● Create design layouts for packaging, instructions, and other printed materials for consumer products following direction and sketches from Creative Director
● Execute design revisions based on client feedback and Creative Director input
● Perform pre-production design checks following company procedures
● Build and test mockups / prototypes of consumer products
● Research and purchase prototype supplies
● Pack and ship prototypes and product samples following company procedures
● Run in-person playtesting sessions with small groups
● Participate in product development brainstorms, offering creative ideas for consumer products
● Work collaboratively with other members of the Creative Fold team on various projects, providing project and administrative support as needed
● Maintain regular communications with Creative Director on project status and challenges
● Follow company processes, file organization structure, and naming-conventions
● Assist with drafting client proposals

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

● 2 to 3 years using Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign)
● Proficient and tidy with hand skills such as cutting, gluing, and assembly
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Some experience a plus:
○ Maintaining websites using a CMS system (such as WordPress, Shopify, Wix, etc.)
○ Professional graphic design work experience
