The Game Development Associate Manager oversees the performance management of members of the Game Development team, including product and game designers. the designers and engineers on the team. Success in this role displays a team of well performing and organized coordinators, product designers, and junior game designers who facilitate and execute on the responsibilities pertaining to new and existing games.

The Game Development Associate Manager’s focus will be to support the day to day functions of the team and set expectations on the growth and well being of the Game Development department and help support the PMO office in the release and maintenance of new and existing games.

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
Manage and assist in leading the team of product designers, junior game designers and coordinators while managing timelines for all projects
Be a resource in removing roadblocks and obstacles the team may face in launching and maintaining the current game portfolio
Work with management to incorporate department strategy into actionable schedule and milestones for the team
Implement and own processes that lead to the seamless execution of necessary deadlines and overall physical product life cycle at Exploding Kittens
Other duties as assigned

WHAT WE NEED:
At least 2-3 years in managerial role of a team of 3-5 direct reports
Exemplary communication skills both in written and oral
Extremely adept at people management, delegation, and cross functional communication
Experience in management of high functioning creatives
Game development management preferred but not require
Based in Los Angeles
